Reflections and inflections

Human beings are a strange lot. Strange comes right after hypocritical,intolerant and selfish.We live in a civilized society and entertain civil,social fellow beings,yet never are two people more apart than when they start living together. We are tiny parts making an enormous whole yet are unaware, unaffected by anything that is outside of our concern. Some have died,some are still living while some are struggling with both.The variety in ways of living a life opens up numerous doors for every new person gaining entry into this world. There is so much to pick and choose from the stalwarts who have dared to break the shackles bound by familiarity and given new agendas to formulate. Yet we are stuck in this rut,this facade that seeks to define us and give us labels. The pressing need to shine,do well just in order that we aren't judged by who we judge. The sense of individuality has died with the advent of hypocrisy and another pressing need to be loved and accepted sometimes even celebrated.Truth dies a sorry death showing its vicious head only in the secrecy of closed doors and trusted company. Venom spreads slowly and eats at us from within making us shallower than we already are.There is little hope,for mankind is eventually losing in the rat-race.
