To start a Blog
One of the many things I've been avoiding in my life, pushing it away and leaving it for later would be writing a blog. Now if writing this hasn't taken every inch of my will-power and strength then may I be damned.
For someone who has always envisioned a writing career, you wouldn't think it was too hard to just get down and write but surprisingly it has been and the reasons are manifold. I for one can't wrap my head around this typing business. I'd prefer the traditional pen and paper routine,it being the easiest and the quickest way of "penning"things down but that wasn't really taking me anywhere. I guess one has to move with the times and live to learn,so here am i all fresh from typing in a 2500+ words essay as a part of my post graduation course which has given me a much needed boost to put fingertips to keyboard and type my misgivings away. I mean social networking sites and the occasional emails do constitute an integral part of my daily life but a blog is real business or so i'd like to think and now that i have gotten into it I plan to continue even though you may find naysayers amongst my journals over the years that haven't been filled with more than the first ten pages. Safe to say, I have low attention levels and I need to be excited about things in order to get down and dirty. However I hope that once I am,even if a somewhat miniscule part of the blogosphere I would not prove a waste of typing space. And blame it on facebook and twitter if I give my vowels and apostrophes an occasional miss. I also have exams so I'd rather be doing anything in the world but pretending I'm interested in Crevecouer or even Lal Ded for that matter.
Of course finding time would be difficult what with all the tweeting and poking and last but never least my impending exams that always seem to hovering nearby when I've just started having fun. Not that any body reading would care but hey I did not force you to read this so don't grudge me my smugness.
